I like carmax because you know what the end price will be and don't have to deal with the aggressive passive salesperson trying to rip you off with endless argumentation and sales strategies. Another positive is the ability to test drive a variety of vehicles when shopping. Finally, the best feature Carmax offers is that you can ship vehicles you like from anywhere, so you can always find the perfect vehicle for you.

I have to log in twice to make a payment. the app also wants to send me another "one time security code". I am able to have payment reminders emailed but there doesn't seem to be a way to have payment reminders sent through push notifications which is quite surprising. The developers have made it unpleasant to pay my bill

It's not often that an app experience was so bad that you are forced back to the website. The older version worked perfectly well. It allowed me to buy my last car (2020) with so much ease. Who's ever in charge of usability and testing at Carmax needs to resign.
