●Description
This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth(R) v4.0 enabled G-SHOCK.
Pairing the watch with your smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience. It's just ok. The real bummer with this app is that there's no way to specify which phone notifications get sent to your watch. It's all or nothing, and even if your phone is in do not disturb mode, the watch will still beep and vibrate. I'm also getting double notifications on the watch, too. This app needs a lot of work.

Interface is needlessly complicated and user hostile. Works, but requires huge care and attention to get useful results. Configuration options are needlessly limited and that includes the UI on the watch. Why does Casio put software of such poor quality out in this day and age? It's like an engineering-focused afterthought that barely considers users at all. Why do I go on a 10km run around the flat rim of a reservoir, but it tells me I have ascended and descended 1350m?!

Biggest issue is there is no ability to turn off/on notifications by individual applications. Notifications are either all on, or all off. Only allows link to Stavia and Google Fit apps. Would like to see link directly more of the most popular fitness apps like to MyFitnessPal. No ability to set synch frequency with your phone. However, you can update immediately after changes and refresh step count manually. Would like more customization to change/delete screens to limit button clicks.
