Lumirune is an endless arcade shooter focused on movement, timing, and survival. The player controls a flying character that constantly moves horizontally while enemies appear from the top of the screen and descend toward the lower area. The character can move only horizontally, creating fast reaction-based gameplay where positioning is essential.
The main objective is to destroy incoming enemies while avoiding damage. Opponents can collide with the player, attack with projectiles, or escape beyond the lower screen boundary, each causing life loss. The player begins with three lives, displayed as hearts, and the session ends once all lives are depleted.
Enemies are defeated with a single successful hit, encouraging precise movement and consistent aiming. The game continues endlessly as long as the player survives, gradually building tension through continuous waves of descending opponents. Projectiles can also interact during gameplay, adding an extra layer of timing and positioning to each encounter.
Lumirune includes a records system that stores the best achieved result, including cases where the session is interrupted by closing the game or returning to the menu. This allows progress tracking across multiple attempts while supporting long-term score improvement.
The game also supports automatic pause behavior during app minimization. If the application is moved to the background, gameplay pauses immediately and opens a pause window. After returning, the player resumes the session from the same moment by closing the pause screen.
Lumirune combines endless aerial action, horizontal movement mechanics, enemy waves, and score progression into a focused arcade experience built around reflexes, survival, and repeated attempts to achieve better results.
