About this app

To join the community, you need to create an account:

• Visit the Registration page from the homepage.

• Fill out the registration form with:

• Required Fields: Username, password, email, full name, country, diocese, parish, timezone, and a profile picture (jpg or png, max 2MB).

• Optional Fields: Phone, gender, and vocation (e.g., Married, Single, Religious, Ordained).
• Check the box to receive email notifications for likes, comments, and follows (optional).
• Agree to the Privacy Policy and submit the form.
• After registering, you’ll be redirected to the Login page to sign in with your username and password.

Logging In

• Access the Login page from the homepage
• Enter your username and password. If you encounter an "Invalid credentials" error, double-check your details.
• Upon successful login, you’ll be taken to the Home page (Main Feed).

2. Navigating the App

The app features a mobile-friendly interface with a consistent bottom navigation bar for easy access to key sections:

• Home (Main Feed): View public posts from the community. Only approved posts appear here.
• Post: Share your posts or inspirational content.
• Notifications: See updates about follows, likes, comments, and prayer requests
• Personal Feed: View posts/contents from users you follow or your own posts
• Users: Discover and connect with other community members.
• Messages: Access direct messaging with users you mutually follow.
• Chat: Engage in real-time conversations with specific users
• If you want to stop a user from messaging you, simply unfollow them from their dashboard or profile and they won't be able to contact you.

3. Your Profile

Setting Up Your Profile

• Access your profile via the Profile page to update:
• Personal details (full name, email, phone, country, diocese, parish, gender, vocation, timezone).
• Profile picture (jpg or png, max 2MB).
• Password (optional).
• Email notification preferences.
• If any required fields are missing (e.g., full name, email, country, diocese, parish, profile picture, timezone), you’ll see a prompt to complete them.
• Your profile can be set to public or private (visible only to followers) via the Dashboard.
Viewing Other Profiles
• Visit the Users page to find members by searching, filtering by diocese or vocation, or sorting by username or post count.
• Click a username to view their Dashboard, which shows their bio, posts, follower/following counts, and prayers (if public or you’re a follower).

4. Sharing and Engaging with Posts/contents

Submitting Posts/contents

• Go to the Post page to share post or inspirational content:
• Title: Enter a title (optional).
• Content: Write your post or message.
• Media: Upload images, videos, or audio (Allowed types: jpg, png, mp4, mp3, pdf).
• Content Moderation: Posts/ contents are checked for sensitive or inappropriate words. If flagged, you’ll need to revise.
• Your posts will appear automatically in your Personal Feed but will require approval before appearing on Main Feed.
• On the Public Prayer Wall), submit prayer requests (max 500 characters, one per week) and choose to post anonymously.

Interacting with Posts

• Like: Click the like icon to like a post. You’ll be notified if someone likes your post.
• Comment: Add comments to posts. You can delete your own comments.
• Share: Share posts to your followers via the share button.
• Praying: On the Prayer Wall, click "I am praying" to show support for a prayer request.
• Hide/Block/Report: Use the "More Options" menu (...) the three dots on the top right corner of any post in Personal Feed to hide posts, block users, or report inappropriate content.

Editing Your Posts

• Access the Edit post page to modify your own posts by clicking on the edit button
• Update the title or content, but at least one field must be filled.

5. Building Community

Following Users

• On the Users page or a user’s Dashboard, click "Follow" to see their posts in your Personal Feed.
