I've used the app for some years now and it simply does exactly what I need it to do. No fuss. No nags. All very straightforward. Other family members have cards on the same account and it's easy to keep track of our spending, switch currencies, add funds etc. Happy to recommend. Separately from the app, when my son lost his card, the replacement arrived very quickly indeed, again with no fuss or bother.

Not impressed by the recommendation to use instant bank transfer to top up. After entering all the details to access my bank account I'm asked to insert a card into the card reader the bank supplied. Go off to get the reader and then have to unlock the app only to discover that the transaction I was about to complete has disappeared. So I start again and use a debit card instead. Easier to do and I still have to authorise it via the bank's app so still secure. Just ridiculous.

You are right, the transaction should not have disappeared. It is possible that your currency quote expired while connecting your bank.

Good app, good service and1 generally you get a good deal. I've used the card abroad and feel more comfortable out and about with a top up card ones. One thing I've never understood and not had an answer to is how the exchange rate on the landing page of the app is different (higher) than the rate I get when I top up. Not sure if the higher rate is a minimum spend which I'm not meeting, but it's not clear. Email replies have been good with other matters but I haven't had a reply to this
