How it works:
Place your phone between you and the other person. Each person gets their own panel, facing them. Tap the microphone, speak your sentence, and DuoSpeak translates it and reads it aloud in the other language — all in seconds.
Completely offline:
Speech recognition, translation, and text-to-speech all run on your device. No internet connection required. No account needed. Your conversations never leave your phone.
Hands-free conversations:
Enable Hands-Free Hand-off and DuoSpeak automatically arms the other person's microphone after each turn — keeping the conversation flowing naturally without touching the screen.
Dozens of language pairs:
Choose your languages from a full language picker that shows you exactly which models are downloaded and ready, so you're never caught off guard mid-conversation.
Conversation history:
Every exchange is saved and searchable. Revisit past conversations, review transcripts, and keep a record of important discussions — all stored privately on your device.
Optional cloud fallback:
Need broader language coverage? Bring your own API key and enable cloud fallback for enhanced translation power. DuoSpeak only connects to the cloud when you explicitly choose to — privacy is always the default.
