The Island Observation App enables users to record and submit wildlife observations and environmental concerns relating to the island and surrounding marine areas.

Users can enter observation details, attach photographs, and provide location information. Locations can be recorded using the device's GPS (with user permission), extracted from photo metadata where available, or entered manually.

The app supports data collection in remote areas by allowing observations to be temporarily stored on the device when an internet connection is unavailable. Once connectivity is restored, observations are automatically uploaded.

The information collected helps support conservation, environmental monitoring, research activities, and a better understanding of wildlife and environmental conditions around the island.
