DiGi KGB is a selfie account opening and m-passbook application that is offered by Kerala Gramin bank. It is a light weight, robust and highly informative app that enables the user to create savings bank account instantly. It also gives complete real time information about all the accounts of the customer.

Kerala Gramin bank is the first Regional Rural Bank in the country to launch a such an app.

Ratings and reviews

The worst experience I have ever got from a banking app. Opened my Account in 2017 and still haven't given me an ATM debit card. Saying even after 5 years they're still short of the cards. No other options for any transactions in the app other than to just check the balance and to see if the account is active or not. Now the App is suddenly logout and can't login again ...

Fix the app please, it still has a wait time of about 4-5 minutes to show your balance, it's likewise with mini- statement as well. the issue is not resolved till now. there are other bank apps with more complex features and functions but they work just fine. i get the "no internet connection" response everytime I want to update details in the statement. please fix this problem.

App is done good in its end. But all other procedure have to be done again while reaching the bank, like providing photos, providing copies of documents etc. Then what is the purpose of online account opening,is it just for namesake? Also I didnt got the ATM card from the bank as there were no cards in stock. I am not satisfied from the experience.
