iKnow! is a personalized language learning tool based on advanced learning algorithms designed to help you learn faster and more efficiently.

The mobile app is a companion study tool to the iKnow! website (iknow.jp). With this app, you can enjoy the iKnow! experience on your phone or tablet.

Your iKnow! study progress on your Android device is automatically synched to your PC account, so you can study in the way that best matches your needs and lifestyle.

“Japanese, Chinese, and English”

Official courses are offered for studying Japanese, Chinese, and SAT English. The Japanese Core 6000 covers the 6,000 most commonly used words in Japanese, and the Chinese Core 2000 covers the 2,000 most commonly used words in Chinese. All words have sample sentences and audio.

“Spaced rehearsal learning”

iKnow! presents items in a spaced rehearsal pattern optimized for efficient learning. iKnow! calculates an optimal moment to review what you have learned so that you can learn more effectively.

“Guided study”

iKnow! tells you what to study and when. Based on your targets and performance, iKnow! manages your study for you.

I enjoy this app more than anki. If you choose review 50 words a lesson. You can get 5-10 hours of using this app free. I find that it makes learning very convenient. However, the pricing is high imo. This app has no lifetime version, which almost killed it for me. I have memrise and drops lifetime. Duolingo is free. This is the only app where im forced to pay monthly or yearly. Non the less, it does a better job than anki, I like the convenience of it. Its an oldie but a goodie

Best japanese app I've used, in my opinion! The only app I've paid for for japanese. I do wish there was a one off payment option, rather than subscription model, but otherwise it is exactly what I want. It's a good tool for vocab, giving you a mix of words on different subjects and in different contexts (sound only/kanji only /fill in the blanks /multiple choice etc) which means you can't just guess the word from the pattern of questions, which I find happens a lot in other apps.

I wish I had found this app years ago. I learned Japanese 6000 with another app. But it's almost impossible to understand the context of words. This app makes it so easy with the sentences! And having actual voice actors instead of Google voice is great for learning. The best thing is that the company really listens to their customers. They constantly improve the app and will implement customers suggestions. And they do so quickly and not years later. I feel it's worth every cent I pay!
