The core mission of Chaldal is to save money and save time as we focus on the fact that people don’t have to spend too much of their precious money and time to buy their necessities on a daily basis. We want to make people’s lives easier so that they can do their daily activities without running to the supermarket or vegetable market.

We understand a little assistance with daily grocery needs goes a long way in making lives easier. Chaldal is now the largest online grocery platform in Bangladesh. Since 2013, we have been working relentlessly to improve our delivery mechanism. We have warehouses situated across the major cities of the country such as Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, and Sylhet. Having these warehouses has enabled us to successfully operate a 30 minutes delivery service.

We assure the quality of the products for our customers by sourcing straight from farmers, manufacturers, and importers. With the integration of our automated warehouse management, the processing time has decreased significantly. Our well-designed system architecture enables us to track each and every order from the moment of its placement to delivery.

Ratings and reviews

As of Mar 29, 2025, the app is extremely slow and buggy. It takes a long time to respond to any button press. The UX is not smooth at all. Also, it would be extremely helpful if there was an "Add more items" feature after you've placed an order. If the remaining time to deliver is > 1 hour, the user should be able to modify his/her order items without the need for any customer support assistance.

I've been using this app for 6+ years. Their service has only gone downhill. The last several orders were delayed by over 3 hours with missing products, their customer service is extremely unhelpful, and my breaking point was when I had to go to another house to pick up my order that was mistakenly delivered there (2 hours after scheduled time). The customer service doesn't know how to take accountability and often doesn't even respond in time. I highly recommend not using their service.

Horrible system and service. They allow orders to be placed on certain products because it is shown to be in stock, they even affirm the order and items over the phone. Then, without any notification whatsoever, they remove items that are out of stock. They lie to you about items in stock, and then when you ask for an explanation, say that is how the system works. You cannot promise me that something is in stock, only to remove it at your convenience on the DAY of the delivery.
