About this app

The core mission of Chaldal is to save money and save time as we focus on the fact that people don’t have to spend too much of their precious money and time to buy their necessities on a daily basis. We want to make people’s lives easier so that they can do their daily activities without running to the supermarket or vegetable market.

We understand a little assistance with daily grocery needs goes a long way in making lives easier. Chaldal is now the largest online grocery platform in Bangladesh. Since 2013, we have been working relentlessly to improve our delivery mechanism. We have warehouses situated across the major cities of the country such as Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, and Sylhet. Having these warehouses has enabled us to successfully operate a 30 minutes delivery service.

We assure the quality of the products for our customers by sourcing straight from farmers, manufacturers, and importers. With the integration of our automated warehouse management, the processing time has decreased significantly. Our well-designed system architecture enables us to track each and every order from the moment of its placement to delivery.

As of Mar 29, 2025, the app is extremely slow and buggy. It takes a long time to respond to any button press. The UX is not smooth at all. Also, it would be extremely helpful if there was an "Add more items" feature after you've placed an order. If the remaining time to deliver is > 1 hour, the user should be able to modify his/her order items without the need for any customer support assistance.

The order was supposed to be delivered between 12pm to 2pm. It's 6.18. Called customer support twice. Still no update. Also, please compare your local grocery shop pricing before ordering. Only egg's price is lower than local shops which they don't fail to remind you three times a day over phone spam calling or text.

I don't recommend this app at all. It's a very very bad experience for me. ordered some emergency stuffs last night, they showed they'll deliver at night. they failed. they called me up early in the morning, they wanted to deliver in the morning. here I'm waiting all day long, they haven't showed up yet. disgusting.
