TukSee Driver uses your device's GPS to accurately track trip routes and
calculate fares based on distance traveled — the same way professional
taxi meters work.
BACKGROUND LOCATION & ACTIVE TRIP TRACKING
When you start a trip, TukSee Driver begins precise GPS tracking to record
your route. This tracking continues in the background so that if you
minimize the app during a trip, distance and fare calculations remain
accurate. A persistent notification reading "TukSee Driver – Active Trip"
is always shown while tracking is active, so you always know when GPS is
running. Tracking stops automatically the moment you tap "End Trip".
ON DUTY MODE
When you clock in as available, TukSee Driver shares your location with
nearby passengers so they can find available tuk-tuks. A persistent
notification is shown whenever duty-mode location sharing is active.
This stops the moment you clock out.
GPS tracking is only ever started by your explicit tap — the app never
tracks your location without your direct action.
