It is going great, I paid for the limitless lessons, and enjoying the learning experience. I started at the beginner level and played maybe 25 games so far. I am always using the "review mistakes" funtion. My only point that needs improvements so far has been this. When I start review, I think it is much better to start with the present game and learn from that specific game instead of a mistake I made 4 games ago. Another thing, it comes back to the same mistakes over and over again.

Very nice app with a good idea behind it. Great coaching. Can't rate it any higher though, because after 3 games you need to start paying a subscription for coaching, which is totally fine, but it's called "free trial" or "free coaching" when it's clearly paid and with a monthly subscription at that... this kind of misleading thing is unacceptable.

Having now played a few months, read several books, and used several apps, I've downgraded to 3 stars. The lessons and training options aren't comprehensive enough. You won't learn what you frequently do poorly with Dr. Wolf because it doesn't look at root causes of your moves/game. At most, it will show you your last bad move, but it doesn't currently have the know how to show you how your bad move really came from a bad move four moves ago. Good for basics/beginners, but little after that.
