Ratings and reviews

The chess is awesome, but the ads have become terrible. I understand the need for ads if I don't want to pay to remove them, but the lowest upgrade is a hefty $50/yearly or $7/monthly, and the ads are the type that you cant swipe back out of and when you try to hit the X the hit box is tiny or they are showing it 5 seconds before you can actually click it, so I end up clicking the ad 3 times before it lets me click away. Will be looking for alternatives.

Overall it is a wonderful app , very well made very well done. The only problem is they make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. Self help instructions are wrong and do not work. I cannot find how to do it and I'm going to have to reach out to customer support and hopefully not talk to an AI chat bot. update: I only got a chat bot that didn't cancel my membership and said "someone will reach out within 4 days". That's not acceptable. I want to cancel now.

Good for playing a lot of different people at any time. has annoying features. a review screen pops up immediately after games, This is very annoying, as you can't review moves without clearing the screen. bot games can't be mass deleted. sometimes when trying to delete individual bot games, you get an error and have to go through the steps again. the bots are no where near the level they say they are. if you enjoy chess its ok.
