It's one of the best apps for learning and playing chess. Lessons are locked to 1 per week unless you pay a somewhat pricey premium, most bots are locked, and you can play a few games with an AI coach before it pay walls you. Personally, it feels like it relies too much on making money, but it's very good nonetheless. A bug I found on mobile only is that games with coaches are completely unplayable, the game starts up, and you can see the board, but then you can't move pieces or tap anything.

Amazing, first of all, you don't have to play in real life, so you can play friends and family far away. Also, you can customize your pieces and boards the way you want them, and there's so much customization for everything! Lastly, the membership. It's amazing, and when there's a huge sale, you can get diamond for only 50 dollars or some thing a year, and the membership is great because of playing with coach, unlimited everything, but the free versions also just as fun!

Great website and app. Online play is the best I've seen, with being paired with an even opponent. Computer opponents are amazing for all different skill levels and have personalities. They can be a little bit annoying about the subscription feature, which I don't have, which is why I'm also on another chess app that's ad free and no subscription. I still recommend this app to beginners like me.
