Like many have said, the new app is pretty trashy. I guess it works, kind of, but they really just took a fine app and broke it with the new update. Downloads of larger books is a major pain. You have to scroll through to the book you want each time, rather than having downloaded and undownloaded books separated. When you do finally get a book downloaded, there is a weird tick in which the last 20-30 seconds of every chapter is skipped and it moves on to the next chapter. Needs major work.

It just keeps getting worse. Now I have to do a search to play the title that I'm currently on. In the prior versions, all you had to do was hit play, and it would pick up where you left. Sometimes, I wonder why I even bother with Christian Audio, given the long line of subpar Audio Players and inferior websites that I have had to endure from them over the years. Amazon Audible is great, ChristianAudio is horrible and just keeps getting worse and worse!

What happened to the app I loved? I used to be able to download entire books, and later remove them without any issues. And it would always restart where it left off. Now I can only download a chapter, and only if I can touch the perfect spot. Not useful at all when I'm in poor cell service areas, which is often. And it almost never picks up where it left off. Usually it's a chapter of two off, then I have to try to find my spot while driving(since that is when I can listen.)
