Can I create a list for another family member?
Yes, absolutely! One of the most useful features of ChristmasListApp is the ability to create a list for your children to share with family members. You can easily create a list for those kiddos and family members that are not able to set one up on their own!

Can others see the items that are claimed or that I add to their list?
No! We take every precaution to keep the element of surprise alive and well. Any items that are ‘claimed’ or ‘reserved’ will not be shown to the recipient.

Can I add items to a list that I didn’t create?
Yes! You can add gift ideas to lists for others to claim or even for yourself to claim. The recipient will not see these additions and will be surprised on Christmas morning!

Can I track my spending budget?
Yes! You can set a budget per person. Mark items as ‘bought’ and easily enter the price you paid. Our tracker will show you how much you have left to spend!

When should I create my list?
Anytime, and the sooner, the better! As you walk through stores and think “that would be a great Christmas gift” add it to your list so you don’t forget. When you put ideas on your list, others can start their shopping early!

What if I or a family member need help?

About us!!
We are a husband and wife team and the creators of ChristmasListApp. In 2012, we decided we needed a better way to share our gift lists with both sides of the family, so we started the ChristmasListApp website. It was originally just for our family and close friends, but started to grow organically. Our user base has exploded over the last couple of years and it has been super exciting! We are happy that we can now offer our users mobile apps. We continue to roll out new, trend setting features which is why this will be the best year yet for ChristmasListApp. It is very important to us that everyone has a great experience with the website and our mobile apps. Ratings and reviews

I like the functionality of the app, particularly how you can share items directly from a browser/other app to add it. Main takeaway is it just takes sooo long to load when you share something to it, so it really slows down the shopping process especially if you're trying to add several things. Also would be nice to have a feature to add what store something is from, so you can sort it by store to see everything you have to get from one place. Other than that, it's very helpful for organizing!

This app has all the things you will need and best app for christmas shopping available. I really wanted to love it because of this. However it keeps saying error and won't let me add anything to the list so I cant use it. I really wanted to love this but I guess ill have to keep looking for an app for christmas shopping because this is not it.

Good but needs work. Love that we can share, puchased items are crossed off and recipient can't see what's been bought. We shop on Black Friday and need real time notifications when items were purchased. Duplicate gifts were bought that day because notifications of items crossed off a list came hours later. Oftentimes pics and weblinks wouldn't load and we had to manually fill in "other" section. Would be great to enter $$ spent for each gift/person and see a total to know if we're on budget.
