Circadia is a quiet place to wind down. Six calm experiences, no account, no ads, and nothing leaves your phone.
BREATHING
Follow a soft, guided circle through three techniques:
• 4-7-8: inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8
• Box breathing: 4 seconds in, hold, out and pause
• Wim Hof style: 30 power breaths, a breath hold, then a recovery breath, over 5 rounds
Choose 2, 5 or 10 minutes, pause at any time, and feel a gentle vibration at the end of a session. Your session history stays on your device, and you can clear it whenever you like.
STARS
Trace your finger along the stars to connect real constellations such as the Great Bear, Orion and Cassiopeia, or switch to random patterns.
BEACH
Draw patterns in the sand with your finger. Smooth the sand and start again.
COSMOS
Swipe through the Sun and planets of our solar system in 3D, and read a short fact about each one.
NIGHT
Ten short reflections for the end of the day. Swipe up through them, mark favourites and share the ones you like.
THOUGHTS
Type what is on your mind and watch it drift away like clouds, then let go. An emptier head is easier to fall asleep with.
MADE FOR BEDTIME
• Sleep timer on Stars, Beach and Cosmos
• Bedtime reminder: one optional daily notification at a time you choose. Android asks for notification permission only when you switch it on
• Calm mode: fewer animations, static stars and slower clouds and planets. It is on by default when your system animations are off
• Dark and light theme: automatic, always night or always day, plus an extra-dim option for night mode
• Haptics: adjustable strength, with a separate switch for the end signal
• English and Dutch
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No internet permission: Circadia cannot send data anywhere
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking
• Your settings, session history, favourites and thoughts are stored only on your device
GOOD TO KNOW
Circadia is a relaxation and wellness app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or cure anything. If you have a health condition, ask your doctor before using breathing exercises. For the Wim Hof style exercise: never do it in or near water or while driving, and stop if you feel dizzy.
Breathe. Unwind. Sleep.
Guided breathing, stars, sand and a quiet night mind to wind down at bedtime.
