About this game

Escape the galaxy as its ripped apart by a supernova!

This is a free try-before-you-buy demo containing half of the game, with a single IAP to unlock the full game and all future updates.

Centuries ago three great mage societies held a third of their home world each in equal measure and, having nowhere else to expand, they began to look upwards towards the stars. From across the globe the greatest minds of each mage society came together to find a way to reach the heavens. The Coastal Mages brought with them magically enhanced sails. The Mages of the Mountains brought Gravity Stones, and the Technomages of the Dessert brought their great Magic Engines. Together these technologies came together to create ships capable of interstellar travel. Today the whole galaxy lives under one mageocratic empire, with magically empowered vessels of wood and iron bringing trade and news across the stars.

Take on the challenge of escaping a doomed galaxy. A blue-giant star in the outer rim has collapsed - rendering the entire galaxy doomed to the resulting supernova. Take to the stars in this open map action roguelike where tactical turn based combat meets galactic exploration. Just be sure to always stay ahead of the oncoming supernova wave.

Galaxy Run brings you everything you love about roguelikes:
A fresh galaxy each run;
A wide range of weapons;
Unlockable Characters;
"Nova-Heat" incrementing difficulty levels;
Original drawn pixel art with retro feel;
Original Soundtrack.

It could be a cool game, I like the aesthetic. The gameplay is boring though. almost the whole game consists of fighting raiders, which mostly consists of the little aiming minigame. Sometimes the enemy ship can just scoop over to the edge of the aim view, beyond where your crossbar can reach. This can happen multiple times in a row, effectively giving them several free turns. Extremely frustrating. trading is limited and expensive compared to income.

Thank you for the feedback :) These "unhit-able" paths will be removed and tweaked in an upcoming update.

it has a nice twist on the ftl rogelike genre with a really cool combat system. my only issue is that I reached the zone boss sector with 2 cores beat the enemy at the wormhole but I don't think I finished the game. also the supernova mechanic could be better explained and caught me off guard at first. great game though!

It's a good dungeon crawler type game, you kinda have to lose a few times to really figure out the systems, but it is very fun, even if it wasn't a mobile game. Resource management doesn't really screw you over until around the 60th move, so planning is also important.
