A complete set of dominoes was laid flat on a clay slab, the numbers were pressed into the surface, and then every tile boundary was rubbed away. All that is left is a rectangle of pips. Your job is to put the seams back.

Clay Spot Bones is Dominosa: a quiet, pure deduction puzzle with no opponent, no turns, no luck and no timer pressure. There is nothing to draw from a pile and nobody to beat. There is only a grid of numbers and one fact you can trust completely - every unordered pair in the set appears on the board exactly once. Find the partition that respects it and the board is done.

WHAT YOU DO
Drag across two neighbouring cells, or tap one and then the other, and they snap together into a single bone with a satisfying bevelled edge. Tap a bone you already laid to break it apart again. The pair tracker under the board lists every pair in the set and quietly greys each one out as you use it. Use a pair twice and it turns amber, while both offending tiles flash on the board until you decide which one is wrong.

THINK IN FORCED MOVES
The heart of the puzzle is elimination. If a pair touches in only one place on the whole grid, that bone is forced - lay it, and the cells it swallowed are now unavailable to every other pair, which usually forces the next one. If a cell has only one partner left, that bone is forced too. Chain those two ideas together and boards that looked impossible unravel a piece at a time. When you want to record a deduction without committing to it, switch on Mark and tap two neighbours to rule that seam out.

THREE SETS
- Double-3: a four by five slab, ten bones. A short sit-down.
- Double-6: the classic set, twenty-eight bones on seven by eight.
- Double-8: forty-five bones across nine by ten, for a long evening.

EVERY BOARD IS PROVEN
Boards are not pulled from a fixed list. Each one is built on your device: a full set is dropped onto the grid at random, the seams are erased, and then a solver works the numbers over and proves they can be split apart in exactly one way. Any board that fails that proof is thrown out and pressed again. You never have to guess, and you are never punished for trusting your logic.

TRACKED, NOT NAGGED
Solves, best times and hint-free finishes are kept per set size. Ten awards mark the milestones - your first partition, one board from each set, five clean finishes with no hints at all, five hundred bones laid. Everything lives on the device and nothing is ever uploaded.

MADE TO BE CALM
Warm terracotta, bone-white tiles and deep umber pips, drawn as vector graphics that stay crisp on any screen. Nothing flashes for attention. There is no music and no sound effects of any kind - the app never plays audio. Feedback is a short optional buzz when a bone snaps home, and you can turn that off too.

COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No internet connection is used or required. No ads. No analytics. No accounts, no sign-in, no permissions beyond an optional vibration. Play on a plane, on a train, in a basement, on a phone with the radio switched off entirely. Nothing about this app phones home, because there is no home to phone.

No gambling, no wagering, no in-app purchases, no chips and no currency - dominoes here are a logic tool, not a bet. Suitable for every age.

Undo goes all the way back. A hint will lay one correct bone for you if you are truly stuck, and boards you finish without touching it are counted separately. Take as long as you like; the timer is there to beat later, not now.
