About this app

SteriProof keeps the sterilization records for a practice running more than one autoclave. Cycle logs, biological indicator results and machine test records live in one place, and export together as a single PDF.

WHAT IT DOES

Multi-autoclave dashboard
Every sterilizer on one screen. Each chamber shows its recorded test status, what is overdue and any failed record, so you can see where a chamber stands before you open it.

Cycle and load records
Log the cycle number, temperature, pressure, hold time, load contents and operator for each run. Temperature in C or F, pressure in bar or psi. If an entered value is below the target for the selected cycle, SteriProof flags that record for review.

Chemical indicator photos
Attach a photo of the indicator tape or Class 5 strip to the load record it belongs to, so it is filed with the cycle rather than in a drawer.

Biological indicator log with a timed read
Start a spore test and SteriProof stores the incubation start and the due time for the incubation period you selected. The result field stays locked until the device clock reaches that due time, and a notification tells you when it is ready to read. The processed indicator and its matching control are recorded separately, and a control that did not grow is shown as an invalid test rather than a pass.

Load review list after a positive result
When a biological indicator comes back positive, SteriProof lists the loads processed on that chamber since its previous negative result. The list supports the review carried out by the person responsible for infection control. It does not determine what must be recalled or reprocessed.

Autoclave maintenance log
Bowie-Dick, helix, vacuum leak and automatic control test records, plus door gasket and filter changes, engineer visits and pressure vessel examinations. A failed machine test record marks that chamber on the dashboard until a passing record is entered.

Record schedules
Pick a schedule for US dental guidance, UK primary care dental guidance or veterinary use. Scheduled reminders are starting defaults. Check them against your local requirements, the sterilizer manufacturer's instructions and the biological indicator's instructions for use.

Sterilization audit PDF
Choose a date range and export a PDF containing the load ledger with cycle parameters, the biological indicator log with both vial readings, the machine test and servicing log, your practice details and your signature.

Reminders
Schedule due date and incubation read reminders, with a built-in check for the notification permissions a phone can switch off.

Works offline
Records are kept on the device and can be entered without an account or an internet connection.
