Plan your next tattoo: describe it, see it on your own skin, take a sheet to your artist.

TattooDraft is a tattoo design app that turns a few words into tattoo ideas. Pick a style, where it goes and how big, and one tap draws four designs on a sheet of flash. Keep the ones you like, try one on a photo of your own arm or leg at its real size, and print a reference sheet for your tattoo artist.

WHAT IT DOES
• Nine styles: fine line, American traditional, blackwork, geometric, watercolour, Japanese, script lettering, minimalist and realism sketch
• Black and grey or colour ink
• A body map to choose the placement: forearm, upper arm, shoulder, wrist, hand, neck, chest, ribs, upper back, spine, thigh, lower leg, ankle
• Size from 2 to 40 cm, with designs drawn to suit it: small designs get bolder, simpler lines
• Four designs on every sheet
• Start from your own sketch, or draw four variations of a design you like
• Tattoo try on: lay a design on a photo of the spot, then move, turn and size it with your fingers; the design is blended onto the skin photo
• True size: put a bank card or coin in the photo and mark its two ends to calibrate the ruler and the design size
• Artist reference sheet (PDF): the design printed at true size with a 5 cm check bar, your skin preview, your brief and notes on the style
• A board for your designs: pin the ones you like and mark the one you decide on
• Save to your photos or share
• Inches or centimetres, and a tablet layout

HOW DESIGNS ARE MADE
Each sheet is drawn on our server by an image model from your description. Before anything is drawn, the request is checked: no real people, brands, logos, characters, sexual content or hate symbols. Every design is an AI idea and a reference for your artist, not a stencil; a tattoo artist redraws it for your skin.

Your first two sheets are included and are drawn smaller with a preview mark. After that, sheets come in a pack or a monthly or yearly plan through Google Play. A failed sheet does not use a sheet from your pack or plan. No ads.

YOUR PHOTOS
• Photos of your skin never leave your phone: previews are drawn on the phone
• A sketch you add is uploaded only to draw that sheet and is deleted as soon as it is done
• Designs are deleted from our server once your phone has them, within 24 hours at the latest
• Nothing you send is used to train a model
• The app makes an anonymous account for itself: no email or password. Export or delete everything from Settings
• Every design has a report button
