Apparently removed all functionality for non paying users with aggressive in app message saying it will no longer work unless I subscribe. If this isn't a free app, then don't make it free. I have used this app for over a year and used to love it. If they had reasonable pricing for a subscription,I would pay. But $50 a year for email is too much. Such a shame for this app to go this route
Was suckered in as a free app then held to ransom with a big charge. They said I had a year to subscribe, but in the meantime they started withholding emails (illegal intercept of communications?) and have now switched off all delivery. Was a good app, but shockingly bad treatment of customers. Avoid them.
...And it's done. Latest update killed everything with a "Newton will not work for you anymore". I was such a minimalist user; I didn't use push notifications, I never even responded to e-mails from the app, and I just needed a quick, simple, and mobile way to delete or mark unread for all my inboxes at once until I got to my laptop. The app had such a good feel that I survived all the annoying banners before, but now they've completely cut me out. IMO, I would've recommended keeping such basic functionality for free users and only charging those who needed more, but good luck with the new approach!
Super bummed that I can't use this app anymore. I've used it since it was under the name Cloud Magic for the past several years and was great because the email system my school uses is picky, but worked well with this app. No more, apparently. $50 is way too much for an email app. Will have to find something else.
Absolutely not worth the subscription fee. Plus they pressure you by cutting all the basic features just so you pay. Developers, this is a mobile email app, not a desktop software suite. The amount your asking is not reasonable at all. RIP CloudMagic.
DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE!!- This is a fantastic email app which will take care of all your personal and business related accounts, however the pricing in my opinion does seem a grossly inflated. Wouldn't mind paying around £30, even at full price it makes sense to buy. To improve I would have had a subscription model like the one on Netflix, where you pay monthly and have the complete flexibility to downgrade/cancel whenever takes your fancy. All in all its hard to pass as the alternatives aren't even worth your time installing.
