Lay the track. Run the signal box. Become the train tycoon.

Start with two small towns, one single-track line and a little steam engine. Carry passengers and freight, clear waiting trains from the signal box, and grow a sleepy branch line into a railroad empire that spans four regions.

RUN THE SIGNAL BOX
• Trains stop at red signals on single track and at busy junctions.
• Tap a waiting train to clear it when the line ahead is empty.
• Clear it in the green window for a punctuality bonus on the whole run.
• Hire dispatchers to clear the board for you, then step back in whenever you want the bonus.

BUILD THE RAILROAD
• Connect towns and industries: the track routes itself over hills, rivers and forests, and you see the price first.
• Stations, platforms, freight yards, engine sheds, water towers, diesel depots and substations.
• Double the track, add passing loops and let the express overtake the freight.

MOVE THE GOODS
• Coal to the steel mill, steel to the factory, goods to the towns.
• Farms, food plants, sawmills, oil wells and refineries grow with every delivery.
• Towns grow when you serve them well, and bigger towns send more passengers.
• Take on contracts from fictional mining, steel and grain companies for big rewards.
