When we feel sad, unmotivated, or down, we can lose interest in things we normally enjoy, withdraw from friends and family, and struggle to find motivation. This affects our wellbeing and quality of life. Our thinking becomes overly negative, and this perpetuates our low mood.
CURED (Wellbeing version) tackles those negative thoughts, which you may not even be aware of, and in doing so helps lift your mood. In the app you read short scenarios that can be interpreted in different ways (more positively or more negatively). Completing easy word games and questions about each scenario helps open your mind to more helpful ways of thinking, which leads to beneficial effects on mood. Work through 6 sessions at your own pace (one session per week recommended). Each session unlocks once the previous one is completed.
Developed by researchers at King's College London, CURED is an evidence-based tool that has been tested in NHS and related settings. It includes validated wellbeing questionnaires allowing you to track your progress over time to see if the app is helping you.
CURED (Wellbeing version) is intended to enhance your wellbeing. It does not provide medical treatment or diagnosis and is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
Boost your mood and banish unwanted negative thoughts without the effort.
