About this app

The Somfit app is used with the Somfit device to record your sleep overnight.

To get started, the Somfit app scans the QR code given to you by your healthcare provider. The Somfit app uses Bluetooth to connect to the Somfit device, and phone storage to securely store data during use. Once your overnight study has finished it uploads results to your healthcare provider.

The Somfit app requires access to your camera and phone files to provide the best user experience. The camera is used to scan a QR code during device setup, while file access is necessary for storing device data until it can be transferred. The Bluetooth location permission is needed to communicate with the Somfit device. We understand that granting permissions can be a concern, but rest assured that your privacy and      security are our top priorities. We only access the minimum necessary information to provide you with the best possible service.

I did 2 sleep studies using the Somfit & it gave an invalid result both times. I did everything I was supposed to, but it ended up not recording the data properly. When I woke up in the morning & opened my phone to end the study, it was on the screen where it tries to search for the Somfit. I had a bad experience both times & would not recommend this product. I don't see how this is an approved medical device with the issues it has. It seems like it could very likely give an inaccurate reading.

I downloaded the app and followed the prompts to a T. Once I tried to connect the machine to the APP and vice versa neither one worked the way it should have. The app told me that there was a bug so I uninstalled it and redownloaded it again. The app still didn't work. The app would not connect to the machine no matter how many times I've uninstalled it and installed it again. It was a big waste of time. I was better off getting the sleep study test down in house versus at home.

absolutely rubbish app. It froze on a screen that said it couldn't connect to the Bluetooth sleep device and wouldnt get off that screen. Later the pharmacist told me it had recorded a bunch of stops and restarts that never happened
