About this app

Bread out of the oven at 8:00 on Saturday morning — so when does the levain get fed? Sourdough Bake Planner starts at the hour your loaf should be ready and walks the clock backwards: feed levain Friday 5:30 AM, autolyse 11:30, bulk ferment 12:30, shape 5:30 PM, into the fridge 6:15 PM, preheat 6:15 AM, bake 7:15, bread at 8:00. No guessing, no arithmetic at midnight.

WHAT IS INSIDE
• Reverse bake timeline — set the ready-by time, get the start time for every stage
• Editable stages — stretch the bulk ferment and every earlier step moves; the finish time stays put
• Baker's percentage calculator — flour, hydration, levain and salt in grams or ounces
• True hydration — the levain is counted in, so the number matches the dough in the bowl
• Starter feeding tracker — log a feed, watch the countdown to the next one, get a reminder
• Loaf journal — photo, crust and crumb ratings, and a note on what to change next time
• Recipe library — keep the formulas that worked and load one into a plan with a tap

FOR THE BAKER WHO
wants warm bread at Sunday breakfast instead of at midnight, keeps a starter on the counter and forgets the 8 AM feed, or has been running a hydration calculator in one browser tab and the schedule in a notes app.

FREE AND PRO
The whole bake plan is free: formula, true hydration, the full timeline, editable stages. The starter tracker, loaf journal, recipe library and reminders unlock together for 24 hours after one short video — no account, no subscription, nothing to cancel.

QUIET BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your device. No sign-up, no cloud sync, and it all works in airplane mode with flour on your hands. The app is free and supported by ads.

Tell it when the bread should be ready. The schedule writes itself.

What’s new

Set the hour your bread should be ready and the plan runs backwards to the minute you feed the levain — every stage with its own start time. Baker's percentages and true hydration come along, plus a starter tracker with feeding reminders, a photo journal for your loaves and a shelf for the formulas that worked.
