Yeah the ads are absolutely crazy excessive. I tried logging into my YouTube account and in the time it would take one to type in their username and password...I had to wait through 4 ads before I logged in to youtube! That is beyond inconvenient. Enough for me to come and give this review. My advice. Go find another remote app. This one's not it! P.S. - Nobody is going to pay $70 for an ad free version. Its much more convenient to hit "Uninstall". There are more reasonable remote apps available

, either this app is highly specific to certain TV models or it's completely useless. Of the three Samsung TVs I have access it will not find a single one even if I turn on the hotspot on my phone and tried to connect with the TV connected to the Wi-Fi phone Hotspot., admittedly they're all old but I don't think remote frequencies have changed that much in the last few years., now it's just figuring out how to make them give me a refund for this piece of junk

Great app, ads ruin it. This app works really well. The ads are terrible. If, for example, you are tapping to fast forward or change a channel an ad will pop up and, since you are tapping, you'll tap the ad which launches a browser. You end up with many browser tabs open and then you must close them - this happens a lot! You may go ad free but it costs $35. I'd rather buy a real remote that others can use. Update: Now app won't connect to TV. Uninstalling.
