No option to eliminate ads, well, now you're given the option to buy this way. No ADS. However, after using it for a couple of days, I find it very annoying. when I have to reconnect the TV every time. I want to use the remote on my phone and considering the $35 charge. I don't think it's worth it. Maybe if they figure out how to keep the t v connected to the app I would use it.

This app is an invasive adware app with the side effect of having remote control capabilities. Not worth it!!! Couldn't practically use it because every time I push a button, an ad pops up under the button, taking me to who-knows-what drive by malware download. EVERY time I open it, full screen ad takes over the app with no opportunity to skip until it's made it's impression. TOTALLY ANNOYING!!!

This app works, but it went from tolerable to intolerable in the last year. I use this as a backup remote when my kids lose the remote to get by. Ads were once reasonably frequent and you could close most of them out within a few seconds. Now I can't click 10 buttons in a row without a 30-60 second ad I can't get rid of. I would have bought the ad free version but it's insanely expensive. I'll be looking for a new app.
