HOW DOES IT WORK?
CookShelf includes both a free version and a Premium subscription.

The free version lets you add up to 5 cookbooks and use all of CookShelf's features for those books – search, bookmarking, cooking goals, and tracking.

Premium unlocks your full collection:
◆ Add unlimited cookbooks
◆ Search across your entire library and over 15,000 indexed titles

You can start a free trial to access Premium. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you'll be automatically charged the price shown on the payment screen for your chosen plan. Your CookShelf Premium subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Canceling disables the automatic renewal, but you'll keep full access through the end of your current period. Note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Ratings and reviews

I've been waiting for this app for years and it doesn't disappoint. I collect cookbooks from the places I travel and I was feeling guilty that I haven't been using books to their full potential owed to not being able to quickly find what I'm looking for, I love that it even tells you which page your recipe is on. Couple suggestions: allow users to sort books by location, and to share collections with friends that's also searchable.

Wonderful wonderful app! if you have any number of cookbooks, and I only have 21, this will definitely help you get more use out of them. I am recommending this to all of my friends. What a great idea and the search feature works so well. I just search on the ingredients that I have and it brings up recipes with those ingredients from the cookbooks I already own. loving this!

I've wanted this app so badly I tried making it a couple times years ago. It finally exists! Not only do I feel seen, but I'm using it almost daily. There is nothing better than feeling like my coveted collection of cookbooks is the only database I get to search through. I might be biased since I wanted to make this, but I couldn't be happier with this final product and anyone who loves their cookbooks should have this.
