HOW DOES IT WORK?
CookShelf includes both a free version and a Premium subscription.

The free version lets you add up to 5 cookbooks and use all of CookShelf's features for those books – search, bookmarking, cooking goals, and tracking.

Premium unlocks your full collection:
◆ Add unlimited cookbooks
◆ Search across your entire library and over 15,000 indexed titles

You can start a free trial to access Premium. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you'll be automatically charged the price shown on the payment screen for your chosen plan. Your CookShelf Premium subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Canceling disables the automatic renewal, but you'll keep full access through the end of your current period. Note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

I've been waiting for this app for years and it doesn't disappoint. I collect cookbooks from the places I travel and I was feeling guilty that I haven't been using books to their full potential owed to not being able to quickly find what I'm looking for, I love that it even tells you which page your recipe is on. I just wish I could organize my cookshelf by location in my house because I have books all over the place and I lend them out - being able to keep track of that would massively helpful.

love love love this app. so easy to search by recipe name, or even by random ingredient (especially when you have an ingredient that you're looking to use up). You can create meal plans, personlized lists and review/add notes to recipes you've cooked. I'm an avid cookbook collector in this app had 90% of the cookbooks. Paid subscription is 100% worth it- I use this app daily!

This is the only app I have paid for a subscription (it is nearly useless if you don't pay, which is unfortunate). I have been cooking more, wasting less, and getting into some cookbooks I've had on the shelf and never touched. Most of my cookbooks are on the app and functionally entered (some lack page numbers or have some mistakes in the ingredient list). Overall I'm really happy with this app and features (it helps that you get a subscription to the website). Love the review feature!
