Absolutely garbage. Do not buy if you want to integrate with your Amazon devices. It will not connect. I called customer service, waited on hold for a hour to have tech support tell me they had no idea how to help. Call back and ask for tier 2 tech support. Another hour on hold, still tier one tech support. I was told tier two support would call me back. No call back. No connection to my home automation system.

Bluetooth connection (necessarily managed by the app) is a real problem, standing right next to the device with strong signals. It's just slow and even gets stuck sometimes, requiring a reset of all systems. Once it's connected, you better not let your phone screen so much as turn off. If it does, when you pick up your phone it has to re-connect anew and you're looking at 10 seconds minimum to simply turn on of off the light or adjust it. Imagine every time you went to a light switch on the wall you had to stand there and wait. Yeah no, don't buy Halo Home.

I just bought 8 Halo lights. The app only connects to ONE, and won't allow me to dim or change the color temperatures, won't let me turn the light off. It's glitchy. The lights themselves look bright, and we're easy to install. But the software is hot trash. Edit. I had to uninstall and reinstall, reset the devices a couple of times. It finally seems to work, as far as adding new devices, controlling them from the phone.
