Setting up a key light just doesn't work. it uselessly opens the android settings app which has no way to set the light up with wifi. I ended up having to use a laptop. Even after setup, this app only detects 1 of my 2 lights. my computer finds them both fine, but this app never sees one of them. For the single light it finds it works, but man this app is pretty bad. I might suggest not buying Elgato products due to this. The lights require an app as there are no physical controls.

Bad at pairing new devices. when I reset the key light air or light strip then try to connect it to WiFi, it never finds my network but the PC app pairs them fine. Obviously the key light air can connect to my WiFi, but the android app won't find my ssid. I can't refresh the list of networks at all, so if it doesn't see it during the initial pairing process, it'll never show up.

How is this app even still in the play store? It's terrible. It loses connection to wifi, my lights start blinking on and off, I can never get it back unless I restart the app. Totally unusable in live streams and recording which is what I bought the key lights for. It's a shame this hasn't been fixed. I have dozens of apps that control remote devices, none of them lose the connection and start flashing the devices. I feel totally let down by Elgato.
