A quarter of Ukrainian soil is littered with projectile remnants as a result of hostilities. So the Corteva Agriscience company, concerned about the development of agriculture in Ukraine, developed a program to study Ukrainian soils for heavy metal contamination.
After downloading the Soil test application and registering in it, farmers will be able to request the analysis of soil samples from their field at:
- the content of the main nutrients: (macroelements N, P, K, S; microelements Ca, Mg, Zn, Cu, Mu);
- contamination with heavy metals: Mn, Ni, Pb, As, Hg, Fe, Zn, Cu;
- determining the structure of the soil and the content of organic matter in it.
Based on the results of the analysis, agricultural producers, in addition to the laboratory conclusion, will receive a map of soil pollution and recommendations for growing agricultural crops.
