About this app

Cross Pause helps you build your relationship with God by replacing screen time with prayer time.

It's simple: at prayer times throughout your day, Cross Pause blocks
your most distracting apps. Instead of scrolling, you're invited to
pause-read a verse, pray, and reconnect with God. Then continue your
day refreshed and centered in His presence.

accessibility service (important)

cross pause uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to power app blocking. this lets us detect when a blocked app is opened and then show cross pause so you can pause and pray before continuing.

what we access: the name of the app that is currently opened (so we know when a blocked app is launched).

what we don’t do: we do not read what you type, we do not read messages, we do not capture your screen, and we do not collect the content inside other apps. we do not sell this data or share it with third parties.
you can turn off accessibility access anytime in your phone settings.

HOW IT WORKS

2. Set your prayer times (default: 5am, 12pm, 4pm & 10pm - fully
customizable)
3. tell God how you feel today
4. read the verse and the explanation we generate
5. pray the prayer we generate
6. apps are unlocked, you can continue your day.
