CTBIDS grew from an idea over 10 years ago by Caring Transitions owners across the country. These owners are carefully managing the treasures and everyday household items for their clients as they downsize or transition to new homes. These items have quality, value, and a history that are a perfect fit for someone else. Our mission was to create a platform where these estate sales are brought to you online. Instead of set pricing, bidding starts at $1. This process allows our bidders to find unique and everyday treasures for a great value. Ratings and reviews

They use "corporate" rates to ship their items after you won the auction and the rates end up being double and they don't use basic rates. I won a small toy for $8 and they quoted me $18 to ship it!! Someone is getting raked over the coals, whether it's their corporate team or the end user, but something shady is going on in the background. Beware of these deceptive practices before bidding! Also, lots of bugs in the app, it constantly crashes or freezes. The website is easier to use.

I like the desktop site. However it should have ability to search for phrases. If I type in Stephen King, I don't want all Stephens and all Kings. I like the people who work there and what they do as an organization. However the app is literally unusable. When you click the search bar, the keyboard does not come up or the site just freezes. Same thing when clicking the three bars. It's like a broken app. It's a shame because I'd prefer to use it.

absolute worst auction system ever! The app is had issues and won't close images after you zoom in. the auction disappears after you win and there is no way to go back to it to see the pictures of what you won. so if you think something is different or missing.. no way to prove it! didn't tell you up front how much that will cost you. don't even tell you the weight! I won an item for $60, with buyer's premium, taxes, s&h, packing and handling, total was $200 no joke! will never use again!
