Download this app, use the app and give yourself some useful knowledge that could save a life!!
This app has detailed articles on tons of stuff. It also has an emergencies section. You can quickly find concise info there if you are at an accident and looking on your phone for what to do. Plus - you can test yourself on things. Amazing! Only recommendation to The Red Cross: if you make the app a bit smaller, more people might install it.
ESSENTIAL APP! Even without utilising the excellent interactive fully up-to-date & incredibly simple 1st aid training this app makes accessible to everyone, YOU MUST HAVE THIS APP... As soon as you open it, another quick touch of the screen immediately connects you to local paramedics & emergency services in order to get help to you ASAP! There's also a simple to follow step by step guide instructing you what to do in different emergency situations as they happen. The difference of having & not having this app, could LITERALLY be the deciding factor of whether you, or someone you love lives or dies..! Get the BRC's 1st aid apps to save the lives of children & babies as well, THEY ARE ALL FREE!
You need to update your asthma attack information to make a clear distinction between a steroid inhaler (normally brown) and a bronchodilator (normally blue) - a steroid inhaler is no help during an asthma attack. Using the wrong one could put the person's life at risk. Otherwise good app to increase your knowledge of first aid.
It's clear that the developers of this app have successfully gamified the process of learning how to provide first aid. A trillion thanks cannot justify how brilliantly this app. has already benefitted (and will benefit) the lives of people around the globe. I commend you.
Essential Safety Equipment First, I am a Red Cross trainer. But I wanted these apps so much I got a smartphone. Even for me, they are great revision aids, and essential emergency equipment. They are also kept up to date with changes in First Aid advice.
