About this app

RangeForge is an all-in-one archery setup, bow tuning, and range-analysis app for bowhunters and target archers. Create printable archery sight tapes, compare bow and arrow setups, track archery scoring, and keep a detailed shooting log—all without creating an account.

BOW AND ARROW SETUP

Build complete equipment profiles with bow model, draw weight, draw length, arrow shaft, arrow length, point weight, total arrow weight, speed, sight model, peep measurements, and more.

Save multiple rigs, duplicate builds, and compare equipment combinations without losing your original setup. Keep your bow and arrow setup details together for reference at home, in the shop, or at the range.

ARROW LAB AND BOW TUNING

Calculate total arrow weight, grains per inch, grains per pound, kinetic energy, momentum, and front-of-center balance.

Explore manufacturer-based spine recommendations and compare them with your selected shaft. See whether your setup falls within the recommended range or trends too stiff or too weak. Follow guided bow tuning checklists and save notes as you work through adjustments.

SIGHT TAPE CALCULATOR

Create custom archery sight tapes using verified sight marks, caliper measurements, launch speed, downrange speed readings, or multiple confirmed yardage marks.

The sight tape calculator can load sight information from your active rig while allowing adjustments for an individual tape. Customize tape layouts, calibrate your printer, and print or save to PDF using your device’s available printing services.

Recognized Dialed Archery PRÜF models use the corresponding angled A.E.S. movement geometry. Other sight models use standard vertical movement. An offline sight catalog includes manufacturer and model selections, plus custom entries for unlisted equipment.

ARCHERY SCORING AND SHOOTING LOG

Record shots on multiple target faces, track scores, inspect group size, and review shot placement with the Range Session tools.

Zoom in for precise shot entry, record overlapping shots, and correct mistakes with Delete Last Shot. Use your shooting log to review sessions and understand how equipment changes affect your results.

DENSITY ALTITUDE CALCULATOR

Use the density altitude calculator to account for environmental conditions in your setup calculations. Enter conditions manually or use optional location-based weather information when connected to the internet.

BACKUP, EXPORT, AND PRINT

Keep your equipment records organized with:

• JSON backup and restore
• CSV export
• Printable build sheets
• Customizable sight-tape layouts
• Printer calibration
• Print-to-PDF support through compatible device services

BUILT FOR THE RANGE

Core tools work offline, with no account required. Large, mobile-friendly controls make RangeForge practical for use at home, in the bow shop, or on the shooting line. Optional weather and location searches require an internet connection.

Whether you are preparing a hunting bow, refining a target setup, or comparing arrow builds, RangeForge brings your archery calculations and records together.

Always verify calculated sight tapes and equipment recommendations by shooting under controlled conditions before hunting or competition use. Calculations do not replace manufacturer guidance or safe equipment setup.
Create archery sight tapes, save bow setups, and track shooting sessions.
