ADB TV: App Manager lets you easily manage your apps on Android TV using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) feature. After setting up the ADB connection, you will be able to disable (freeze) and uninstall* apps. Try it once and ADB TV will live permanently on your TV!

This is the easiest way to disable and uninstall pre-installed TV apps. I have a Panasonic TV which has a lot of factory catch-up TV apps which despite disabling in the Android settings, always get re-enabled after the TV is restarted. With this app the unwanted apps are disabled and stay disabled. I also used this on a Sony TV to disable a load of hidden Sony bloatware and background processes, which now has my TV running faster and more smoothly than it ever has.

Works pretty well, but Free version limitations are annoying. Wanted to purchase PRO version, but despite the app saying it can be purchased in the Google Play store, there is no such purchase available.

Works as expected. The only issue is sometimes, if the prompt to allow the debugging connection does not show, the user must restart their device in order for the prompt to show properly. The developer should add instructions indicating as such to the setup wizard.
