The ONECTA application can, from any place at any time, control and monitor the status of your heating system and allows you to (*):

Monitor:
- The status of your system:
> Room temperature
> Requested room temperature
> Operation mode
> Fan speed
> Requested domestic hot water tank temperature
- Energy consumption graphs (day, week, month)

Control:
- Operation mode
- Change the requested room temperature
- Change the requested domestic hot water temperature
- Powerful mode (fast heating domestic hot water)

Schedule:
- Schedule the room temperature and operation modes
- Schedule the heating of the domestic hot water tank
- AC Demand control to reduce power consumption during certain moments of the day.
- Enable holiday mode

Voice control:
- Voice control through Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant
- To use these features, you need a smart speaker compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
- You can also use the Amazon voice or Google Assistant apps and use these features on your mobile.
- Supported commands: On/Off, Set/Get room temperature, Increase/Decrease temperature, Set operation mode, …
- Supported languages: English, German, French, Spanish & Italian.
- Extra languages (Google only): Danish, Dutch, Norwegian & Swedish

Ratings and reviews

Now, I've been using this app for 2/3 days. It does its job, but I'll see if it's good enough. For now, the real let-down is all about the missing integration with Google home and SmartThings. I'm not talking about voice assistant. I'm talking about controlling the device from the apps. It's crazy they decided to open up to silly voice commands and decided not to write a Matter Driver that integrates it completely on smart home apps: the result is you miss all smart home automations. Weird.

I second this previous comment: When we use the app to control the unit, setting it to heat it goes way above the temperature it is set. The unit itself records a temperature much higher than its setting but does not switch off the heat. The app doesnt work very well with google home and is missing any integration with homeassistant, custom integrations do not seem to be a possibility.

Having the old Daikin controller app was a bit clunky. This is slicker and better laid out and now I can turn on the units with Google home and use Google assistant. It would be nice to have a button on the main screen to turn all units on without having to go into each unit separately. As a hayfever sufferer I'm loving the pollen forecasts 👍
