The ONECTA application can, from any place at any time, control and monitor the status of your heating system and allows you to (*):

Monitor:
- The status of your system:
> Room temperature
> Requested room temperature
> Operation mode
> Fan speed
> Requested domestic hot water tank temperature
- Energy consumption graphs (day, week, month)

Control:
- Operation mode
- Change the requested room temperature
- Change the requested domestic hot water temperature
- Powerful mode (fast heating domestic hot water)

Schedule:
- Schedule the room temperature and operation modes
- Schedule the heating of the domestic hot water tank
- AC Demand control to reduce power consumption during certain moments of the day.
- Enable holiday mode

Voice control:
- Voice control through Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant
- To use these features, you need a smart speaker compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
- You can also use the Amazon voice or Google Assistant apps and use these features on your mobile.
- Supported commands: On/Off, Set/Get room temperature, Increase/Decrease temperature, Set operation mode, …
- Supported languages: English, German, French, Spanish & Italian.
- Extra languages (Google only): Danish, Dutch, Norwegian & Swedish

Ratings and reviews

"ONECTA"? Who came up with that name? What does it even mean? Also I don't like that newly sold units don't have local LAN access (local REST API). My old Daikin unit still has it (even after updating to this app), so it works both via Home Assistant (LAN) and this app (cloud), but newly sold units only work through cloud (ONECTA app only). Why cant they have both? I am very hesitant to buy further Daikin units because of disabled LAN access. Also app UI is based on web-tech, so a little laggy.

Horrible, absolutely horrible response time. you have to press controls multiple times to register. I jave not seen worse application in a long time.

After update of the app my air condictioner lost conection and can't be connected again!!!
