The ONECTA application can, from any place at any time, control and monitor the status of your heating system and allows you to (*):

Monitor:
- The status of your system:

- Energy consumption graphs (day, week, month)

Control:
- Operation mode
- Change the requested room temperature
- Change the requested domestic hot water temperature
- Powerful mode (fast heating domestic hot water)

Schedule:
- Schedule the room temperature and operation modes
- Schedule the heating of the domestic hot water tank
- AC Demand control to reduce power consumption during certain moments of the day.
- Enable holiday mode

Voice control:
- Voice control through Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant
- To use these features, you need a smart speaker compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
- You can also use the Amazon voice or Google Assistant apps and use these features on your mobile.
- Supported commands: On/Off, Set/Get room temperature, Increase/Decrease temperature, Set operation mode, …
- Supported languages: English, German, French, Spanish & Italian.

Ratings and reviews

A real hassle to get firmware updates working. Fails often. Instead of telling users officially to retry that multiple times, the app should have the ability to do that. Also it was impossible to try alternatives for an unstable Wi-Fi, e.g. I could not stay connected via AP mode and do the firmware update while directly connected - the app then complained 'I did not have internet access', well, of course not: I wanted to run the firmware update via the AP. Otherwise, useful and functional app.

I've been using this app for the past 3 years to remotely control my AV and I hate it. pros: - UI is very nice and intuitive cons: - completely unreliable! you have more chances at winning at russian roulette than this app doing what it's supposed to do. if I turn on my AC through the app, I always have to double check whether it actually on! the app shows that it's on when it's actually off, or even the other way. - it randomly disables my schedules. works for weeks then it stops for no reason

a good functioning app but only one small thing I thought was silly - when you have multiple units and you have to do a firmware update for each one individually, you have to close the app entirely before being able to update the next one. when you've updated the firmware on a unit you get the "update completed" screen, when you go back to your list of units and you click on the next one to update without closing the app first, you instantly get the "update completed" message again.
