About this app
MooMonitor+ NFC Config is the official companion app for configuring and managing MooMonitor+ livestock tracking tags. Built for production technicians, and field service engineers, it connects to NFC-V (ISO 15693) tags directly from your Android device—no extra hardware needed.
Disclaimer: This application provides low-level hardware configuration capabilities. Incorrect programming, improper memory sector modifications, or interrupting the NFC connection during data writing may permanently render the tag unusable.
Key Features
Read Tag Configuration: Instantly decode tag identity, farm/base IDs, mounting location, country codes, radio channels, and energy-harvesting parameters with colour-coded status feedback.
Program Tags: Write farm IDs, base station channels, country codes, radio configuration, ear/collar assignments, and NDEF records. Auto-Program mode lets you batch-flash consecutive tags on the production line with auto-incrementing IDs.
MCU Hardware Reset: Trigger a physical power-cycle of the tag microcontroller using harvested RF energy, with real-time status tracking through the full bootloader handshake sequence.
Diagnostics & Speed Test: Run NFC antenna coupling benchmarks, inspect data logger settings, read raw memory sectors, and debug tag behaviour in the field.
Security & Password Control: Check, set, and lock 32-bit sector passwords to protect production configurations.
Real-Time Status Indicators: Colour-coded feedback (grey, yellow, green, cyan, orange, red) tells you exactly what is happening during every NFC transaction, so you know when it is safe to move the device.
Secure Login: Authenticated sessions with encrypted credential storage keep your farm data safe.
