DataLeash helps you avoid accidentally using mobile data in apps that may consume a lot of bandwidth.
Choose the apps you want to watch, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. When one of those apps is opened while your phone is using mobile data, DataLeash displays an alert so you can decide what to do.
From the alert, you can open your device’s Wi‑Fi settings or continue using mobile data. You can add or remove watched apps at any time.
To work in the background, DataLeash uses a persistent notification and requires permission to check network status, identify the currently active app, and display alerts over other apps. Your watched-app preferences stay on your device.
Important: DataLeash does not switch Wi‑Fi on automatically and does not measure or report historical data usage.
Get an alert before opening selected apps while using mobile data.
