Unlike Thai banks, Deemoney does not require you to have a specific visa status in Thailand. You can use DeeMoney whether you are in Thailand for ten days or ten years! Simply provide a few documents.

For Thai Nationals:
• Thai ID Card (front & back)
• Name change certificate (if any)

For Non-Thai Nationals with e-Passport (NFC embedded*):
• Original passport

For Non-Thai Nationals without an e-Passport (no NFC embedded):
• Original passport

And one of the following documents:
• Work permit (front & back)
• Valid visa
• A government-issued ID from your home country (front & back)
• A Thai government-issued valid ID (e.g. Thai driving licence, Pink Card; front & back)

*An NFC is a chip present in most passports or other identity documents. You can find the NFC chip on the bottom of your passport cover.

Once everything has been checked (which can take 1-3 business days), you can send money from Thailand right away.

Ratings and reviews

App pushes customers to send money with "special rates and incentives." They do not tell their customers their "partner" is having "technical issues" and thus transactions are taking weeks or longer to complete. Transaction that was initiated Aug 19 is still being waited upon Sept 24. The "next day guarantee" is not happening anymore.

I researched many ways to send money to Sri Lanka.. 🇱🇰 I tried DeeMoney (suggested by ChatGPT) 3 options including this app. At first I was afraid, but after registering and sending, it was amazing! Better exchange rate than Thai banks and Western Union. Sometimes free transfer fees, and very easy to use. My money reached Sri Lankan bank in about 2-6 hours. Fast, secure, and user-friendly. I like it.. 💪🌱🖤

Been using for awhile for overseas transfers, only had good experiences so far. Transfers are fast, reliable and the cheapest I have ever used (and I've checked around 10 money transfer apps) usually they reach within a day or two between southeast asia, a lot of promo codes for free transfers too. Only ever had an issue once and that wasn't due to deemoney but a bank issue, I was promptly informed of the issue and refunded. 5 stars!
