DefensX ZTNA Connect
Secure Zero Trust Access to Corporate Applications
DefensX ZTNA Connector provides secure remote access to corporate applications using a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) model. Unlike traditional VPNs that grant broad network access, DefensX allows users to connect only to the specific applications they are authorized to use.
Designed for modern remote, hybrid, and BYOD environments, DefensX protects corporate resources while maintaining a simple and reliable user experience on Android.
Key Features
- Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
Every access request is verified based on user identity, device context, and security posture.
- Application-Level Secure Access
Access is restricted per application, domain, IP, or port—reducing attack surface and lateral movement.
- No Traditional Network VPN Exposure
Users do not gain access to the full corporate network.
- End-to-End Encrypted Connections
All traffic between the device and corporate applications is encrypted.
- Android VpnService-Based Secure Routing
VpnService enables protected tunneling required for secure application access on Android.
- Centralized Policy Management
Access rules are defined and enforced by administrators.
- Works on Managed and Unmanaged Devices
Suitable for BYOD users, contractors, and remote employees.
- Audit Logs and Session Visibility
Visibility into who accessed which application and when.
Why DefensX ZTNA Connector?
Traditional VPNs increase security risk by exposing internal networks. DefensX replaces legacy VPN connectivity with a granular, identity-driven Zero Trust model, improving security while simplifying access for users.
DefensX ZTNA Connector is a modern, scalable solution for secure mobile access to corporate applications.
Who Is It For?
- Enterprises adopting Zero Trust security
- Organizations reducing or replacing VPN usage
- Remote and hybrid workforces
- Contractors and third-party access
- BYOD environments requiring secure access
Use of Android VpnService
DefensX ZTNA Connector uses the Android VpnService API to create a secure, encrypted local tunnel on the device. This tunnel is required to safely route application traffic between the device and authorized corporate services over public or untrusted networks.
The VpnService is used only for application-level secure access and policy enforcement. It is not used to provide full device VPN connectivity, general internet routing, or network-wide access.
This approach enables Zero Trust controls such as identity verification, application-specific access, and traffic isolation on Android.
Important Note
This app requires administrator-configured access policies and is intended for enterprise use.
