Ratings and reviews

It's getting better! We've had Bookshelf for years, and several bugs made it difficult to use, especially paired with a Bluetooth device. Lately, the only bug I'm still seeing is if you pause it using a Bluetooth device, it will stop at the end of the chapter. You have to then open the app and restart it. Otherwise, it restarts the previously listened to chapter when you press play. It would be great for it to be fully controllable through Bluetooth (especially in a vehicle). 5 stars then!

Not Complete Audiobooks. If you end up listening and following along in the books you will realize some pages get skipped all together. You wouldn't realize it by listening alone. However, following along in the book you began to see it's not complete. Extremely Disappointed. I have listened to more than 100 audiobooks on this app I am beginning to understand I may have missed a lot of the story by depending on the audiobook alone. I love covenant communications books. The content is great.

Update 2-10-24: So frustrating to use now. Frequently stops playing audiobooks at random times. I've tried reinstalling with no luck. Might cancel. A bit clunky. Audiobook portion has problems. Navigation is not intuitive and removing files from your device isn't easy - it should be doable from the same page you download them. Also, some tracks download incomplete and you have to remove the whole book and redownload, or stream it. Sadly, I don't know of other options for streaming this content.
