The EV QuickSmart Mobile app is the official app from Electro-Voice for mobile device control of portable loudspeakers.

EV QuickSmart Mobile is an essential tool for simultaneously configuring, controlling, and monitoring on up to 6 Bluetooth™ equipped EV portable loudspeakers Including ELX200 series, EVOLVE series, EVERSE 8, and the all new EVERSE 12. Using BLE connectivity, you can adjust EQ settings, gain, preset, and crossover parameters while in front of your PA system. You can even mix your entire show on the fly from your device with mixer equipped speakers like EVOLVE 30M/50M and EVERSE 8 and EVERSE 12. Have peace of mind knowing that you are treating your system well during a performance with signal and limiter status indicators, battery life indicators for EVERSE, as well as notifications for loss on connection and input clip events. Make quick adjustments to multiple speakers at once with dynamic component grouping and locate your speakers in a dark show room with LED identification.

I have trouble getting the phone to connect to the speaker through the app. I follow instructions it seems I have to spend 15 minutes going back and forth back and forth and then finally it will connect. The whole time it says connection failed I checked my internet everything's okay. I do it the same exact way every time and finally it comes on and any little glitch it turns off and I have to go through the whole ordeal again. Although when it works it works great and sounds freaking fantastic.

Will not control pair if i have bluetooth audio paired. I just migrated to a new tablet. (S7+ to S9+) While there was no issues with my old tablet the app will now refuse to control pair if i have audio paired first. So for those of you having control pair issues you need to first forget the audio pair (not disconnect but forget) and then control pair will connect. You can then re pair audio using the menu on the speaker but i have found it easer to just connect a cable to run audio if need to.

This system is really pretty flawless. The Evolve 30m is a great PA system for our acoustic duo. The app interface is straightforward without too much detail, something that is actually quite refreshing for someone running their own sound 95% of the time. Everything seems to work as it should. I wish the channel names would change when recalling presets, but this is minor.
