Chess Duel is chess that feels alive. Pieces glide, captures shatter, and every win pays out stars, coins and XP. Play offline against eight rivals, sharpen your tactics with 300 checkmate puzzles, or take on real players online. There is no sign-up and no password: just pick a name and play.

★ THE JOURNEY: 8 RIVALS, 24 STARS
Climb a ladder of computer opponents with real personalities, from Pip, the eager pawn who just learned how the knight moves, to The Sphinx, the final challenge. Each rival plays stronger than the last, and they talk back when you take their pieces. Earn up to three stars per rival:
• Win the game
• Win without hints
• Win without hints or undo
Beat a rival to unlock the next one on the map.

★ 300 CHECKMATE PUZZLES
Mate-in-1 warm-ups and mate-in-2 challenges, each one checked by the engine. Any move that forces mate counts, so you are never marked wrong for finding a different winning line. Build your puzzle rating, chase your best solve streak, and come back for the Daily Puzzle and its bonus coins.

★ PLAY ONLINE
• Quick Match pairs you with a live opponent, or a practice bot if nobody is free
• Play a Friend: create a room and share the 6-letter code
• An Elo rating that climbs from Bronze to Grandmaster
• Offer draws, send quick emotes and ask for a rematch
• If your opponent leaves, you can claim the win

Two players, one phone. The board can rotate for each player's turn.

Free to play, with no purchases and no account. Ads never interrupt a game: there are no banners beside the board and no ad between losing and trying again. Watching a video is always optional and always pays you extra coins. Journey, puzzles and Pass & Play work completely offline. Online play keeps only what it needs (your chosen name, your rating and your games), and you can delete it all from Settings at any time.
