Steps to use
1. Open the Forward SMS app.
2. Grant required permissions.
3. Create a basic or advanced rule and enter forwarding details.

Permissions Required
1. READ_SMS - Allows the app to read SMS details
2. RECEIVE_SMS - Allows the app to receive SMS
3. RECEIVE_MMS - Allows the app to receive MMS
4. SEND_SMS - Allows the app to send SMS
5. READ_CONTACTS - Allows app to read contact details which can then be used to find the SMS sender
6. INTERNET - Allows the app to create a secure connection to transfer SMS to the user's email
7. CALL_LOG - Allows app to read Missed Call detail

Ratings and reviews

Very buggy. Had a situation where the app was trying to forward old messages I received a long time ago. Ended up forwarding hundreds of messages before I stopped it! The filters which are very important sometimes disappear after you do an Update (you have to actually change a filter otherwise the filter as it exists is lost). Gonna try some more tests but I may have to look for something more reliable.

I use this to forward to email and text. I have to have 2 Phone works great to go back to 1 phone. I also use this app to forward to my smartwatch which is great for those that want to disconnect. Easy to use.. no problems 😃 just really hope they don't start charging like some of the other competitions they have gotten very expensive 🫰

I use this for several months with excellent results. Then it stopped working inexplicably. I uninstalled and reloaded. I rebooted. I forced stopped and reopened. It immediately closed on opening. I have uninstalled it and installed another product. My phone is a Motorola with Android 10 and no other app issues.
