The Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust at Shirdi is a global pilgrimage centre honouring Sai Baba — the 19th-century saint who lived in a dilapidated mosque he called Dwarakamai and preached a syncretic philosophy of love, charity, and inner self-realisation. Today the shrine is administered by the Maharashtra State government and attracts more than 60,000 daily devotees, swelling to over 100,000 on Thursdays and during Guru Purnima, Vijayadashami (Punyatithi) and Sri Ramanavami — the three flagship Shirdi festivals.
