Music Album Recognition and Collection

Other features: manual search, filter by details, export collection to CSV, add custom records, add app localization, create a Spotify playlist.

Identifying LPs or CDs by typing complex serial numbers on a small smartphone keyboard can be frustrating. Record Scanner reduces this process to two simple steps:

1. Take a photo of the cover
2. Specify your record format (CD / LP / Cassette)

And that's it!

Record Scanner enables you to have your full collection at hand - hundreds of records in your pocket!

Scan Vinyl Record & CD Covers for Price Check

- Found an interesting gem in a record store but you're not sure about paying the price? Check the real value of the record instantly with Record Scanner!
- Want to sell some records from your collection and make room for new ones. Quickly scan your titles, jump directly to Discogs, add to your store and it's done.
- A huge delivery just arrived at the record store you own and you need to quickly price all the records. Try this path: record => smartphone => photo => average prices online.
- You see an interesting record sale offer online: a lot of photos of records for sale and one price for them all. Use Record Scanner to quickly check their individual prices.
- You just realized that Discogs has a great collection manager feature - it might be worth it to list hundreds of your records there. Listing all your records might take weeks... Not with this fancy mobile app!

the best I have used to be honest. The scan is fast and provides so much detailed information about your scan. Even lists all of the alternate releases. my favorite feature would have to be how the app allows me to do things my way. I can customize my library, scan my CD and take in loads of information or I can do a quick save to my collection and move on to the next in seriously, 5-10 seconds. I honestly can't recall a faster, more accurate scanning app anywhere.

This app would be five stars if I could scan albums. My dad has about two thousand forty fives, and most of them are just in paper sleeves. i know that you can put in the batch number But that just is more tedious than being able to scan the whole record. There's also a lot more information on the vinyl itself. After hand looking up all 150 or so of his Elvis albums, I have learned that there's usually four different cities for where they're pressed, which can change the value.

Great Music Apps

Thank you for the review, Kimdelee, and Happy Sunday! Try scanning the vinyl's inner label in the "Cover" scan mode - it also works. "CatNo" scan mode is also a good method for records with no covers. Feel free to contact us at contact@recordscanner.com if you need a hand.

I have been using this for a few days .this is an excellent example of how things SHOULD work. The database is quick it scans the album,UPC,or cat number. There are very few glitches so far.
