With My GPS Location you can accurately determine your position, share your live GPS location in real time, record GPS tracks and export them as GPX files.

Whether you are hiking, cycling, traveling, geocaching, sailing or meeting friends, the app provides reliable GPS data, live location sharing and GPS track recording in one place.

LIVE LOCATION SHARING

Share your real-time location with friends and family. Start a live sharing session and send the generated link. No account or registration is required.

Recipients can follow your movement instantly in any modern web browser without installing the app.

This is ideal for outdoor activities, traveling, meeting in the city, coordinating arrivals or improving personal safety on the go. Your location is updated in real time and you decide at any time when sharing ends.

TRACK RECORDING AND GPX EXPORT

Record GPS tracks while hiking, cycling, running, traveling or exploring new places. Follow your current track on a map while recording, access your track history later and review detailed information about recorded tracks.

Export your tracks as GPX files and use them with GPS devices, mapping software, outdoor navigation tools and many other applications.

ACCURATE GPS DATA

My GPS Location shows you the best available position based on location data from all current providers such as GPS, mobile networks and Wi-Fi. The app is designed for activities that require reliable real-time GPS coordinates, such as geocaching, hiking, sailing or cycling.

It also provides precise coordinates and altitude data for astronomy and astrophotography, helping you align telescopes and cameras accurately.

The app is organized into four tabs:

OVERVIEW

Displays detailed real-time sensor data, including latitude and longitude, altitude, accuracy, speed and movement direction. You can switch between coordinate formats such as decimal degrees, degrees minutes seconds and UTM. Altitude can be shown in meters or feet, and speed in m/s, ft/s, km/h, mph or knots.

MAP

Explore your surroundings and relocate your saved places, such as a beach from your last vacation, the mooring of a boat or the parking spot of your car. A long press on the map adds new places, and existing places can be moved by dragging them to a new position. The app supports common map types, including street maps and satellite imagery.

PLACES

Save, edit and manage your favorite locations and see the distance to your current position. This is particularly useful when traveling, for example to check how far it is to your accommodation or to a meeting point. Distances are calculated precisely based on the WGS84 ellipsoid.

TRACKS

Record GPS tracks, review previous recordings and export tracks as GPX files. Recorded tracks can be viewed on a map together with detailed information such as distance and duration.

SHARE AND SAVE YOUR LOCATION

From anywhere in the app you can share your current position via messenger, email or other apps. Your contacts receive your coordinates and a link to Google Maps. In emergencies you can even send your location by SMS if no internet connection is available. You can also copy GPS coordinates to the clipboard and paste them into map apps, chats or emails.

So I downloaded this app on my phone for awhile now and didn't use it. I finally decided to give it a try before uninstalling, and now I can't get enough of it, even ready to get the ad-free version!!! Very useful to combine it with Google Maps, I use the Multi-Window feature on my phone, Maps in one window and this app in the other. GPS is accurate, and I used the feature where I saw my home on the map, and pinned it as a favorite, with ability to label it. You can also share your location 🤗😊

this app is working miracles. it enables me to track my movement by any vessel, and keep good record. more specifically, it adds a very critical angle to the navigation space through its altitude and error margin, thereby enabling one to have the plus/ minus of the altitude. the altitude factor renders its GPS three dimensional. the addition of the speed and direction of movement is another critical addition to the whole process. thank you very much.

This app gives a far more accurate location and elevation than my Garmin GPS unit, well by about 20 feet. I really haven't tested it out under tree cover yet and quite honestly the accuracy is more based on the technology in my cell phone but anyhow, the terrain setting is great if you're I to the outdoors. Though the elevation lines on the terrain map do disappear as I zoom in, still not a big deal. The ads are of an exceptible size as well. Great simple little app.
