Ever driven past a place you meant to visit, and only remembered once you were home?

NearBe is a location-based reminder app that lets you drop a pin on any place you want to remember: a shop, a hiking trail, a spot for nature exploration, a friend's street, a place you spotted from the car window.

Then it quietly watches your surroundings and taps you on the shoulder the moment you're nearby, even if the app is closed.

• Go about your day — NearBe checks in the background and notifies you when you're near a saved pin

BUILT FOR YOUR BATTERY
NearBe doesn't rely on constant GPS tracking or poll your location on a timer. It pays attention to whether you're still, walking, cycling, or driving, and only checks your position as often as that pace calls for — parked at home,
it does almost nothing; driving across town, it checks more often.
No wasted battery watching a phone that isn't
moving.
