Worked great until late August. Since then it has been a complete waste of time. I have contacted the tech support team as directed however they were only able to provide instructions on installing the software rather than actually troubleshooting the problem. Ive heard nothing from D-link since and still have the problem.
After i update to this latest update i could not connect to my camera remotely? A pop up message keeps saying " Could not connect to the device. Please try again later." !!! What / Where when wrong? DLink tech support Please advise ???
Had to change my review down to 1 star. Just does not work now! I tried to send all the info via the link, tried everything for mydlink Account and only get a 404 error and a Chinese page. I'm not wasting anymore time with this product!
** update...have contacted tech support. App will still not work after android updates. These cameras are pointless unless i can use the app. GET THIS FIXED PLEASE!! Will not load after android update. Love the app when it works.
slow buggy mobile apps. motion detection doesnt work and records dead air usually several secounds after the person has walked thru the field of view selected...most of the time. tons of configuration and settings on line using win8 but chrome and firefox will not work... time zone keeps reconfiguring itself wrong. currently using a 70gb wifi speed and located 25 feet from router so thats not the issue. tested several of these cameras and none capture actual people walking thru the indicated motion field selected or just the tail end and then it stops even though there atill is motion...big disappointment. do not rely on these cameras for serious security. way too many camera options so software is more buggy than others.
Stopped connecting to my camera. I'm overseas at the moment and the app was working fine up until a few days ago. Now it says "Could not connect to camera. Please try again". This is an absolute disaster as I can't monitor my home when I'm out of the country! Please fix this!
