FIX THE APP! HASN'T WORKED SINCE LAST UPDATE!!! December 2015, D-Link updated and the app was down for over 2 months. December 2016, D-Link updated again and the app is still down. It is the end of January. I will change this post as the month changes. Don't buy these cameras because they quit working way too much to be reliable.
Worked for a day, now cannot view recordings This app worked great for the first day. Then suddenly no one can view the recorded videos on the SD card. We have to download them from the advanced settings program and can only do that when we are on site. This confirms it's not the SD card. What happened to the app? Getting a "cannot connect error 1" using both the Android and Windows versions. 🙁
Bad app I was so excited to be able to keep an eye on my dog with this camera and I was incredibly disappointed with the app. The camera looked super cool and I'm sure it's great, but I never got to try it because the app wouldn't connect. I literally tried to get it to work for days, following the directions to the letter. I returned it to Best Buy and bought a Nest indoor cam instead. I had it set up and working within 15 minutes! Skip DLink. Go Nest!
Basics work well. Beats messing with java downloads required to view on PC's.
Not working White blank screen after logging in, tried deleting and reinstalling tried paid version also blank white screen why???:(
Won't stay connected I have full wifi, camera connects to the app but loses connection after a minute or so. I've been up for an hour trying to get it to work since I use this as a baby monitor and tonight I've lost sleep over this thing and I'm over it!
