VpnService Utilization: If you enable VPN by Guardian, the eero app will utilize Android's VpnService to set up a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to help keep your device private and secure.

Ratings and reviews

OK, maybe I'm just unlucky, but it is not as straightforward as portrayed in the setup. The instructions seem to tell me one thing, but there are three possibilities on screen. Some steps are counterintuitive, like the grayed out step is what's active but the bright blue font is not active. Don't set them up where they will be after they're connected. Put them all close together, get them connected, then you will find out how far away they will work. Or you'll be wasting your time in dead area.

Does a pretty good job. Need an option for extending children's/guest access for WIFI and "Device time". Need an option to search for devices via name, type, IP, or MAC address. Should be able to see data consumption for devices and apps. This would help determine what devices/apps are consuming bandwidth and bogging down connection speeds. Might be available with paid version.

Terrible product with terrible support that wants you to pay for basic router functions. It's all messed up or meshed up like they say. don't want or need a 3rd party dropping the ball when it comes to your network. Half my network shows on the eero insights web browser? and only some show on the new usless eero app? DEVELOPERS SHOULD BE FIRED! app dosen't send or receive invites. if forcing to use the app why the terrible website?Just look at all the 1 star reviews that they refuse to reply to.
